This is an Indigenous-specific employment opportunity. First Canadian Health is seeking an Indigenous Talent Acquisition Partner as part of its commitment to increasing Indigenous representation and creating meaningful employment pathways for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. This role will play a key part in supporting recruitment initiatives for Express Scripts Canada while helping to build an inclusive, equitable, and culturally responsive hiring practice.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience, knowledge, or sensitivity relating to Indigenous recruitment, Indigenous cultures and communities, and the principles of Truth and Reconciliation. A strong understanding of, or commitment to developing, reconciliation knowledge and Indigenous allyship is essential, along with the ability to foster culturally safe and respectful recruitment processes that support meaningful engagement with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis candidates and communities.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Indigenous Talent Acquisition Partner will serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and business leaders, leading full-cycle recruitment activities across a variety of functions and levels. The successful candidates will be responsible for developing talent pipelines, building relationships with communities and educational institutions, and employment organizations, and identifying innovative strategies to attract and engage talent.

This role requires strong relationship-building skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with company policies, employment legislation, and recruitment best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned portfolio
- Partner with hiring managers to understand business objectives, workforce needs, and ideal candidate profiles
- Facilitate intake meetings to align on job requirements, recruitment strategy, timelines, and interview processes
- Develop and execute sourcing plans utilizing job boards, networking, social media, referrals, talent pipelines, and direct sourcing techniques
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support operational needs

Candidate Assessment & Selection
- Review applications and conduct candidate screening and qualification assessment
- Conduct phone, virtual,



and in-person interviews using behavioral and competency-based interview methodologies
- Evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural alignment
- Present shortlisted candidates and provide market insights and hiring recommendations to stakeholders
- Coordinate interview scheduling and ensure timely movement of candidates through the recruitment process

Stakeholder & Hiring Manager Partnership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Provide guidance on recruitment best practices, market trends, talent availability, compensation considerations, and selection strategies
- Support hiring managers in developing effective job descriptions and candidate evaluation criteria
- Facilitate debrief discussions and guide consistent hiring decisions

Candidate Experience & Employer Branding
- Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience throughout all stages of the recruitment process
- Maintain proactive communication with candidates regarding status, expectations, and next steps
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Manager and the Marketing team to promote the organization's employment brand through outreach initiatives, talent communities, career events, referrals, and social media engagement
- Participate in recruitment marketing and employer branding initiatives

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education experience
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or staffing
- Demonstrated experience managing high volume - multiple requisitions across various business functions and levels
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft Office applications. Working knowledge of Workday ATS preferred
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, and relationship management skills
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices, talent market trends, and candidate attraction strategies
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
- Experience recruiting for Pharmacy, healthcare, operations, Technical or corporate functions is an asset
- Bilingualism (French & English) while not mandatory, would be an asset.

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
