Structural Composite Technologies Ltd. | Winnipeg, MB

Build something real. Grow with a company that's building too.

Structural Composite Technologies (SCT) engineers and fabricates industrial fiberglass products that hold up in some of the toughest conditions in the country — holding tanks, pressure vessels, ductwork, stacks, grating, and custom fabrication for mining, water and wastewater, chemical processing, and power and utilities. Our work ends up in facilities that can't afford to fail, and our reputation is built on getting the engineering and the execution right, every time.

We're a growing manufacturer with an expanding order book, ambitious plans, and a genuine need for someone to help drive that growth from the front lines of sales. This is a rare seat: full ownership of the quoting and estimating function, paired with a real book of industrial accounts at a company small enough that your work is visible and large enough that the opportunities are real.

We're looking for someone a few years into a sales or estimating career — sharp, technically curious, and hungry to build something bigger than a territory. If you want a career, not just a job, and you're ready to grow into more responsibility as we grow the business, let’s talk.

What You'll Own

- Prepare quotations and cost estimates for custom FRP fabrication and small-scale fabrication, including material take-offs from customer drawings, specifications, and RFQ packages.
- Embrace and utilize our estimating model to provide accurate quoting to customers.
- Collaborate with project management and engineering to manage project feasibility, production capacity, and lead time in the process of finalizing pricing and delivery.

- Hand awarded projects off cleanly to project management/operations, so scope, pricing assumptions, and customer expectations carry through into production without surprises.
- Move beyond a transactional approach to grow into managing a portfolio of industrial accounts: prospect, qualify, present, and close recent business while growing existing relationships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts through the full sales cycle, from first inquiry through quote, purchase order and follow up.
- Utilize the CRM to track quoting, maintain and manage a clean pipeline, log win/loss outcomes, determine revenue forecasting and document project intel.
- Coordinate with the Director of Sales on strategic output, contracts, providing reporting, etc.
- Potential travel to customer sites, plants, and project locations across Western and Central Canada, and represent SCT at trade shows and technical association events.

What's In It for You

- Real ownership of the quoting function at a manufacturer with a growing order book and the capacity to deliver on it.
- Direct exposure to major industrial customers and multi-million-dollar projects — not a training-wheels territory.
- Base salary plus performance-based commission, so your growth and the company's growth pay off together.
- Health and dental coverage, RRSP matching,

an employee assistance program, and paid time off.
- Travel allowance and mileage reimbursement as applicable.
- A seat at a company that's small enough to move fast and invest in the people who help it grow.

What You Bring

- Three or more years in sales or estimating, ideally with technical or industrial products.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs;, general arrangement drawings, and written specifications — or a strong appetite and ability to comprehend quickly.
- A team-first mentality with a genuine appetite for ambitious, exponential growth — yours and the company's.
- Strong quantitative skills and advanced Excel.
- A track record of managing long, technical sales cycles.
- Clear and articulate written and verbal communication.
- Discipline and follow-through on outstanding items.
- Comfort with CRM systems and quote tracking.
- Willingness and ability to travel, primarily within Canada.
- Fluency in the English language, both verbal and written, is required.

Benefits

- Dental care
- Extended health care
- Life insurance
- Paid time off
- RRSP match
- Vision care
- Employee assistance program
- On-site parking
