The Opportunity
Industrial Painter The primary role is to prepare and apply industrial coatings to metal parts and components.
The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with industrial painting processes, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision.
The ideal individual for this position must possess the following:
- Experience with industrial painting of metal parts and components.
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques, including sanding, cleaning, and
- Masking.
- Ability to mix and prepare paints and coatings according to specifications
- Experience using various spray guns and painting equipment.
- Familiarity with operating paint booths and related equipment.
- Ability to inspect parts to ensure they are properly prepared for painting and meet
- quality standards.
- Experience with epoxy and polyurethane coatings.
- Basic ability to read and interpret technical instructions and work orders.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes and consistency.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations and make informed decisions quickly.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Brief Summary of the Position's Primary Responsibilities
- Verifying parts are ready for painting.
- Mixing and preparing paint.
- Applying coatings using various spray guns within a paint booth environment to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Operating and maintaining paint equipment and booths.
- Selecting appropriate painting methods and performing final inspections and touch-ups
- as required.
Secondary responsibilities may include as needed:
- Preparing parts for painting, such as sanding, masking,
and cleaning surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality.
Required Experience, Education and Qualifications
- Required: Minimum 2–5 years of experience in industrial painting or related manufacturing environment.
- Required: Hands-on experience with surface preparation, masking, and spray application Techniques.
- Preferred: Experience working with industrial coatings such as epoxy and polyurethane.
- Required: Clear Criminal Record Check.
- Required: Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Previous experience operating paint booths and spray equipment.
- Preferred: Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Preferred: Ability to speak other languages.

Reporting Relationship This position reports to the Materials Manager.
