Srew Pile Installer:
The role of the screw pile installer is to install helical piles on a daily basis for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The installation will be done with a mini excavator and drive-head equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service and satisfaction.
- Load and unload helical piles onto trucks and trailers for daily projects.
- Review project details and helical piles design.
- Mark out helical piles locations.
- Install helical piles using a mini excavator and drive head equipment.
- Record helical pile information once the job is completed.
- Day-to-day maintenance of equipment including lubrication, fuelling, and visual checks.
- Participate in continuous hazard assessments, daily toolbox meetings,
and complete safety documentation and paperwork as required
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures in relation to both safety and quality
Qualification
- A team first, collaborative mindset.
- Desire to learn and grow into a role with greater responsibility.
- Experience with heavy equipment and machinery.
- Basic numeracy skills – adding, subtracting, dividing and multiplying.
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs on a daily basis.
- Ability to work alone and with a team.
- Basic carpentry and general construction knowledge is an asset.
- Clean driving record and valid drivers license.
Postech will provide
- Postech will provide all training on proper helical piles installation and operations.
- Postech will provide all tools, truck, trailer and equipment for installation. All tools, truck, trailer and equipment will be brought back to the shop at the end of the day.
- Postech to provide daily uniforms.
Job Type: Seasonal Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
