Cedar Shake Roofing Installers & Labourers
Upper Canada Cedar Roof – Hamilton, ON
We are installers of Cedar Shake & Shingle Roofing, servicing the Hamilton and surrounding areas since 1992. We are expanding our crew and currently require a mix of installers & labourers. This is intended to be permanent & full time work.
All work is on the books; No Cash Work. OT is paid when applicable. Vacation pay every paycheque. We are booked into the fall & unable to keep up with the demand. Some work is already booked for 2027. We are willing to train the right people for the team. Preference will be given to those best meeting the following requirements:
- Experience with steep slope roofing (Planks & Jacks) >required
- Experienced with Cedar preferred, but experience with asphalt shingles or slates would also be an asset
- Experience in carpentry/construction is also a benefit, but not necessary
- Pouch & basic tools, safety boots > Required. We have everything else.
- Fall protection/Working at Heights cert.
- Valid driver's license & vehicle > Required. Must be able to get to job sites in various communities
- Ability to set up & work on scaffolding
- Experience in using a metal brake is an asset
Work is Mon-Fri. Hourly pay range: depending upon experience
Looking for dependable, detail-oriented employees
We only install Cedar Shakes & Shingles, Composite Shakes and Copper Roofing
We do not install asphalt/fibreglass shingles, nor flat roofing
