At Veloce Homes, we craft custom homes where thoughtful architecture meets meticulous interiors. We are based in Ancaster, with projects located throughout Niagara and the GTHA.

We’re looking for an experienced Interior Designer who is both creative and collaborative, ready to take the lead on residential projects that are refined, functional, and intentionally detailed.

Why This Role Matters

You’ll be at the heart of our high-end residential projects, involved in every stage from early design and material selections through construction and finishing touches. You’ll work closely with our clients, architects, consultants, and construction team to develop thoughtful interiors and see them through to completion.

We’re looking for someone who can step into projects confidently, work independently, and contribute from day one.

This is a senior-level, full-time role based in Ancaster, with regular visits to active construction sites, suppliers, and showrooms.

What You’ll Do

- Lead interior design for custom homes, large-scale renovations and boutique developments
- Curate finishes, materials, and interior specifications that reflect our high standards
- Create and manage detailed interior drawing packages (plans, elevations, details)
- Produce construction-ready documentation that supports high-quality execution
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, and the build team to keep design intent intact
- Attend site meetings, supplier reviews, and design check-ins
- Review shop drawings and samples to maintain design quality
- Manage quoting, budgeting, and cost tracking for interior selections
- Lead client presentations, communicating concepts, selections, and overall design intent while incorporating client feedback
- Prepare polished supporting presentation materials for clients




- Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Who You Are You are an experienced residential interior designer who is comfortable working independently.

You understand that successful interior design is about more than creating beautiful spaces. You understand how things are built, how details come together, and how design decisions affect budget, schedule, and execution.

You are confident communicating with clients, architects, consultants, suppliers, and trades. You are organized, detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and comfortable working through challenges as they arise on site.

Most importantly, you take pride in seeing a project through from the initial concept to the finished space.

What You Bring

- Degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture
- 5+ years of professional residential interior design experience
- Demonstrated experience taking projects from concept through documentation and construction
- Robust construction knowledge and attention to detail
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; SketchUp, Revit, or other rendering software is preferred
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Confident working independently and within a team
- Clear, professional communication with clients and trades
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
