Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Janitor/Office Maintenance Handyman to keep our facilities clean, protected, and well-maintained. This energetic role involves performing cleaning duties, conducting minor repairs, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our office spaces and operational areas. Join our team to help create a welcoming workplace that reflects our commitment to excellence and reliability.

This position will begin in late November and will be scheduled Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The successful candidate should be comfortable handling both regular cleaning duties and basic maintenance or handyman tasks as they arise.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to maintain a pristine environment.
- Conduct commercial cleaning of office spaces, break rooms, restrooms, kitchen,



and common areas with attention to detail.
- Carry out basic maintenance duties such as fixing leaks, replacing light bulbs, repairing fixtures, and addressing minor repairs around the facility.
- Monitor the condition of facilities and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage and usage of equipment.
- Support overall facilities maintenance to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.

Requirements

- Prior experience in cleaning services or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety standards.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating basic maintenance tools.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Reliable with a proactive attitude towards safety and cleanliness.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues effectively.
