We are expanding our design group and seeking a Junior Mechanical & Architectural Design Engineer who is passionate about technical design, modeling, and real‑world project execution.

Your Impact

As a Junior Engineer, you will support mechanical and architectural design packages, assist senior engineers, and contribute to project deliverables across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. You will gain hands‑on experience in 3D modeling, drafting, mechanical system design, and architectural layout development.

Key Responsibilities

- Support mechanical design of HVAC systems, piping layouts, equipment arrangements, and building mechanical components.
- Assist with architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and building envelope details.
- Develop 2D/3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, SolidWorks, PV Elite and other design tools.
- Prepare technical drawings, design packages, and construction documentation.




- Perform basic engineering calculations for mechanical loads, ventilation, equipment sizing, and material selection.
- Participate in site visits, field measurements, and construction coordination.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure alignment between mechanical and architectural disciplines.
- Support compliance with NBC, ASHRAE, CSA, ASME, and project‑specific standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in mechanical or architectural design (internships welcome).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced project environment.

Preferred Assets

- Experience with BIM workflows or 3D rendering tools.
- Familiarity with building codes and mechanical/architectural detailing.
- Exposure to industrial or commercial design projects.
