Hiredbuddy is seeking an entry-level Java Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our core software products. Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications using industry best practices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables and learn from peer feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to understand requirements and implement features.
- Debug and resolve software defects, performing root cause analysis when necessary.
- Assist in the design of RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end components.
- Manage database interactions using SQL and ORM frameworks like Hibernate or JPA.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases, refactoring when needed to enhance performance and readability.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in Java development and propose improvements to our tech stack.

Qualifications
- 0-2 years of professional experience in software development, including internships or personal projects.
- Solid understanding of Java programming language, object-oriented design, and data structures.




- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Exposure to web development concepts, including REST APIs and HTTP protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for remote collaboration.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Requirements

- 0-2 years of experience in Java development (including academic projects)
