Overview

K2 Electric Ltd. is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to support our industrial projects in Prince George and the surrounding area.

This position is intended primarily for local, in-town work involving industrial construction, maintenance, upgrades, and shutdowns. Occasional travel may be required depending on project demands.

We are looking for safety-focused, dependable electricians who take pride in quality workmanship and work well within an active industrial environment.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems
- Perform electrical construction, upgrades, shutdowns, and maintenance work
- Install conduit, cable tray, wiring, distribution equipment, MCCs, VFDs, controls, and related systems
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, schematics, and construction packages
- Complete testing, terminations, and equipment installations
- Identify field issues and communicate effectively with supervisors and project teams
- Maintain accurate daily records and required project documentation
- Follow K2 safety procedures, client requirements, and applicable electrical codes
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, apprentices, other trades, and client representatives

Qualifications

- Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certification
- Industrial electrical construction or maintenance experience




- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
- Experience in forestry, mining, manufacturing, oil and gas, or municipal facilities is an asset
- BC Hydro, utility, substation, or high-voltage experience is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and Clean Drivers Abstract
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This position will be based primarily in Prince George and is intended to provide consistent local work. Some travel or out-of-town assignments may be required as project demands change. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: $46.00-$56.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
