RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Prepare mise en place for production by scaling recipes, preparing ingredients and chocolate molds/equipment
- Hand-craft chocolate items such as bonbons, bars, truffles, pops etc.Duties included but not limited to: tempering chocolates, making ganaches/fillings, piping, casting molds, demolding, airbrushing, colouring molds/products etc.
- Packaging finished products for distribution
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment, chocolate molds and tools according to the food safety and handling procedures
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels & packaging slips
- Occasionally greet customers and hand them their pre-paid order
- Occasionally assist the Chef in facilitating events and workshop (off/onsite & outside of production hours)
- Occasionally attend in-person chocolate events with Chefs or solo
- Any other task assigned to you by the Chef
QUALIFICATIONS: · 1 year+ hands-on experience working in a kitchen
· Food Handler’s Certificate is required
· Strong command of the English language
· Must be able to occasionally lift 35+ pounds
· Superior time management skills and be able to multi-task production
· Occasional overtime will be required during holiday season
· Must be able to work flexible hours when required for events
· Must have a valid drivers license and car
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Experience:
- Chocolate: 1 year (preferred)
- Baking/Pastry: 1 year (required)
