Junior Data Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a curious, detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to support our growing analytics and reporting needs.You will work closely with the Business Intelligence Lead and cross-functional teams including Field Operations, Client Services, Finance, and leadership. The role combines reporting, data quality, and business analysis, with a strong focus on understanding not only what is happening in the data, but why.

What You’ll Do

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends and anomalies, and investigate changes in business performance.
- Conduct root-cause analysis by drilling into performance across clients, campaigns, markets, offices, teams, and individual representatives.
- Work with Field Operations and Client Services to validate findings and understand the operational drivers behind performance.
- Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and analytical tools.
- Write and maintain SQL queries to extract, clean, join, aggregate, and analyze data.
- Prepare, import, clean, transform, and reconcile datasets from multiple sources.
- Perform regular data-quality checks and investigate missing, duplicated, inconsistent, or unexpected records.




- Validate reports and analytical outputs before distribution and support processes that improve data accuracy and reliability.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions and support decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 0–2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related role.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data manipulation.
- Experience with a BI/visualization platform such as Power BI, Tableau, or Zoho Analytics.
- Understanding of data cleaning, joins, aggregations, segmentation, and KPI analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to Have: Experience with Zoho Analytics, Python, APIs/workflow automation, or CRM, fundraising, financial, sales, or transaction data.

- Salary Range: $50,000–$70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
