Duties

- Monitor, record, and maintain temperature logs for refrigerators, freezers, and refrigerated food products in accordance with food safety procedures.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals to ensure timely service
- Support cooking activities by following recipes and safety protocols under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to meet food safety standards
- Handle food items safely, adhering to proper storage and handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Serve food to guests or staff efficiently and courteously,

- Restock supplies and organize kitchen storage areas for easy access during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards in the kitchen environment

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential
- Basic knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and meal preparation techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
- Strong attention to detail when following recipes, safety guidelines, and cleanliness protocols
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting
- Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking, food presentation, and customer service
- Knowledge of food industry standards or prior kitchen experience is a plus but not required

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
