The many shops and activities surrounding the building will charm you!The QRO Legal Assistants provide legal and administrative support to a team of Crown prosecutors in cases of prosecution under the various federal statutes. Being the main point of contact between all parties involved in the files, the Assistant ensures coordination and follow-up with the Court, investigators from various federal investigative agencies, defense lawyers and other parties involved.
They provide physical and digital legal file maintenance. This process is anticipatory and aims to establish a list of qualified and/or partially qualified candidates. This list may be used to staff positions in the Quebec Regional Office, as operational needs arise, with varying employment durations and different security requirements.

Asset Education
- Successful completion of a certificate or program in legal secretarial studies.

Asset Experience
- Experience providing legal and administrative support to legal professionals in the criminal law field.
- Experience as a Legal Assistant in a law firm, court, prosecution service, or other legal setting.

Preference
Preference will be given to veterans first, followed by Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with the exception of jobs located in Nunavut or Yukon.
