Position Overview

Reporting to the Corporate VP, Legal & General Counsel (Americas & EMEA), you will provide legal advice and support on a broad range of commercial, corporate, employment, compliance, and operational matters across the Americas and EMEA.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders throughout the organization and collaborate with legal colleagues across Canada, EMEA, and Asia. We are looking for a commercially minded lawyer who can provide practical solutions while helping manage legal and business risk.

Responsibilities

- Review and support the negotiation of customer agreements, sales terms, purchase terms, and other commercial contracts.
- Assist with the review and negotiation of supplier agreements, including distribution, warranty, indemnity, and termination provisions.
- Support business teams on commercial claims, product quality issues, warranty matters, and contract interpretation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate non-disclosure agreements and other legal documents.
- Assist with office lease reviews and real estate-related documentation.




- Support Trade Compliance initiatives and contract-related compliance matters.
- Assist with privacy and data protection matters and related contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with legal team members globally on cross-border legal issues and internal initiatives.
- Help maintain and improve legal templates, contract playbooks, trackers, and guidance materials.
- Provide support on employment law, intellectual property, insurance, logistics, and other legal matters as required.

Qualifications and Experience

- Qualified lawyer with 4 to 10 years of commercial legal experience in private practice or an in-house environment.
- Fluent in both English and French.
- Strong commercial judgment and business acumen.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Robust communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to legal problem-solving.
