We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Early Childhood Educator to support our cozy daycare. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and excellent communication skills. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Must be willing to work flexible hours between 6:00am-6:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and development
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones and areas for improvement
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and classroom activities
- Maintain organized records of attendance, assessments, and lesson plans using computer skills and classroom management software
- Uphold health, safety,
and sanitation standards in accordance with licensing regulations
Skills
- Proficiency in English
- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues
- Excellent organizational skills
- Effective time management to balance lesson planning, instruction, and assessments
- Leadership qualities to guide young learners confidently
- Level 2 with sufficient relevant experience may be considered.
