Job Summary

Scorpio Contracting is seeking an experienced Licensed Master Electrician to join our growing company in the Toronto/GTA area.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and reliable professional with a valid Ontario Master Electrician licence and strong experience with ESA requirements, permits, inspections, and the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.

This is a flexible, part-time opportunity with the potential to develop into a long-term working relationship. We are also open to discussing profit-sharing or partnership opportunities with the right candidate.

The ideal candidate may be an experienced, semi-retired, or retired Master Electrician looking to stay involved in the industry without necessarily working a traditional full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

- Interpret and analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical systems installation and repairs.
- Lead electrical projects by coordinating with team members, contractors, and clients to ensure timely execution.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and systems in accordance with industry standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform precise electrical work efficiently.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify issues related to low voltage,



industrial equipment, or construction sites.
- Ensure all work adheres to local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and schematic updates.

Qualifications

- Valid license as a Master Electrician with relevant state or provincial certification.
- Extensive experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Proven background in industrial electrician work and construction environments.
- Robust knowledge of low voltage systems and electrical theory.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment for electrical installations.
- Experience working with industrial machinery and complex wiring systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot efficiently under pressure.
