Unlimited Safety Services is recruiting licensed EMRs, PCPs and higher-level paramedics for immediate deployment into Canada’s energy industry.
We are seeking a dedicated Oilfield Medic to join our team in Canada. Based in the oil and gas industry, this role is vital for providing medical support and ensuring safety on-site, aligning with our mission to protect workers and promote health.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care and patient assessment on oilfield sites.
- Support safety protocols by maintaining readiness for medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with safety teams to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Administer medications as prescribed and document medical interventions.
- Assist with patient transportation and liaise with emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain medical equipment and supplies to ensure operational readiness.
- Uphold safety standards related to H2s and other hazardous environments.
- Contribute to training sessions on first aid and emergency response.
- Qualifications
- Be professional, dependable and genuinely interested in patient care and emergency response
- Proven hospital or emergency response experience.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of safety procedures specific to the oilfield workplace is preferred.
- Hold a current Alberta College of Paramedics practice permit at the EMR level or higher; or
- Be currently licensed to practise at the EMR/paramedic level in another Canadian province and be willing and eligible to transfer that licence to Alberta through Labour Mobility

Pay: $260.00-$391.00 per day
