Castle Mountain Resort is currently recruiting enthusiastic individuals with a passion for people and snow to join our Lift Operations Team. Lift Operators, Ticket Checkers and Parking Attendants all play a critical role in the guest experience. Lift operators greet guests, check tickets, assist guests in loading or unloading and help maintain a safe environment around the resort by shoveling snow, removing ice patches, and helping direct traffic on busy days. The role also comes with daily ride breaks and a free full mountain season pass. Come work with us in the South Canadian Rocky Mountains!

Responsibilities
- Foster excellent guest relations through positive interaction with guests.
- Actively direct and assist the proper, efficient and safe loading and unloading of all guests of all ability levels, through constant communication, awareness, and decision making.
- Organize passengers (depending on lift) to fill chairs and move lift lines efficiently.
- Maintain lift maze area, including shoveling and raking as necessary.
- Communicate safety procedures and rules for riding the lifts to the customers as necessary.
- Check to ensure every skier or snowboarder has a valid day ticket or season pass each time before boarding the lift and identify fraudulent or counterfeit ticket use.
- Execute daily pre-operational inspection of lift machinery in order to accurately complete a legal lift-log document.
- Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals as necessary.
- Effectively administer emergency procedures if required.
Qualifications
- Passion for the ski industry and culture.

- Friendly, personable, accountable.
- Effective communicator.
- Successful completion of the lift operations/training session during your training week at CMR.
- Novice to advanced skiing or snowboarding ability is an asset, but not required as long as you’re willing to learn.
- A Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid Canadian work visa.
- Comfort around heavy machinery is an asset.
Where We Are: Castle Mountain Resort is located at the end of Highway 774, near Pincher Creek, AB. This is a remote work location.
