Souq Lebanese Grill is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cook to join our team on Howard Avenue.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook food according to restaurant recipes and standards.

- Ensure food is prepared accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner.

- Ensure orders are prepared and sent out on time during busy periods.

- Communicate with front-of-house staff to ensure orders are completed properly.

- Prepare ingredients and assist with food preparation as needed.

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen throughout the shift.

- Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas, countertops, cooking equipment, and other kitchen areas.

- Keep floors and other kitchen areas clean and free of debris.

- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.





- Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning duties as needed.

- Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries.

- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

- Assist with other restaurant duties as needed.

Requirements

- Previous kitchen or cooking experience is an asset.

- Good communication skills.

- Reliable and hardworking.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to work well as part of a team.

- Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Pay: $17.60-$23.00 per hour
