Job Requirements:

: Grade 12 or equivalent, Counter balance, Reach and Walkie certification or +1 years’ recent experience

: 1+ Years of previous manufacturing/warehouse experience / General Warehouse Duties / Production Line Knowledge / General Packaging

: Attention to detail, able to handle repetitive work, basic math, organize, team player, able to read, write and speak English fluently, able to lift up to 50lbs

Duties and Responsibilities

- Review and follow all process control instructions for packaging products according to their batch cards or SOP’s, as well as any special instructions from the production floor supervisor or production manager.
- Clean up station after each project, including, wiping down all surfaces and floors, cleaning up debris, collecting wastage and recording wastage, tidying up remaining packing material, clean up and put away any small tools or equipment used at the station.
- Set up, calibrate, or verify, clean up, and put away of any measuring equipment used for packaging on the station such as scales, after each project.
- Set up, clean up, perform minor maintenance on straightforward basic production equipment as needed.
- Report any quality issues to the Production floor supervisor and/or Production manager
- Report any issues with production equipment to the Production floor supervisor or production manager.
- Follow all instructions and report all health and safety and concerns in the workplace to the Production floor supervisor, Production Manager and /or a Joint health and safety committee member
- Handle chemical and chemical products in a safe and effective manner that meats all WHMIS, and OHSA requirements
- Complete all health and safety training as required.
- General cleaning of the production room, ferric line, and warehouse
- Assisting Maintenance technician, floor manager, or Production manager with other production related tasks




- Assist in training new staff, and/or supervising temporary employees at the station as requested
- Perform any other production or warehouse duties as required

Job Type: Full-Time; Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday
