The Role As our founding General Manager, you will possess total operational ownership of this brand-recent retail space. You aren't just managing an established routine; you will actively build the culture, selection and design the guest experience.

Key Objectives:

- The Launch: Oversee the initial store opening, setup, and spatial merchandising.
- Operations & Culture: Drive daily operations, financial performance, inventory curation, and local community outreach.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, mentor, and schedule a high-performing customer service team.

Community & Guest Experience:

- Build over time a product selection that appeals to both local residents and high-end seasonal international tourists.
- Organize tasting events, build relationships with local hospitality operators, and position the store as the communities primary liquor store.




- Look for and develop new and innovative revenue steams

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 3 years of liquor retail store management experience or liquor buyer in hospitality. Direct experience in the British Columbia private or public liquor retail sector is highly preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma required; Business Administration or Hospitality management credentials are a distinct asset. Sommelier or WSET certifications would be considered assets but not required.
- Legal: Must be of legal age in BC to sell alcohol , possess a valid BC driver's license, and hold a Serving It Right certificate. Must pass a comprehensive background check.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and safely handle/lift heavy boxes up to 25 kg (approx. 50 lbs).
