Position Description

You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Commanding Officer of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

- You will communicate precisely; both in the written and spoken word, and develop sound relationships between all stakeholders within the fleet.

- You will plan, manage, and execute logistics support programs consistent with established and maintenance policy guidelines to field weapon systems capable of meeting aircraft/engine readiness, supportability and affordability goals and objectives.

- You will manage the efforts/tasks of (Logistics Element Manager) LEMs, technical data managers, data analysts, and other specialists from within and outside the command to ensure optimal ILS is attained.

- You will identify aircraft/engine ILS program planning and execution problems.

- You will review acquisition planning and procurement documents to ensure integration of systems command policies, procedures, contract provisions and contract data requirements for ILS and related programs.
