Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks over long distances, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight across regional and national routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with freight handling, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely.

Duties

- Operate commercial trucks over long distances, adhering to all safety and traffic regulations
- Transport freight efficiently from origin to destination, ensuring timely deliveries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Conduct basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Assist with warehouse operations, including freight handling and inventory management when required





Requirements

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, preferably with long-haul routes
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and perform basic automotive repairs is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Physical ability to load/unload freight and operate heavy machinery as needed
- Prior experience with automotive repair or maintenance is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently over extended periods and manage time effectively
