Job Title: Luxury Print & Packaging Graphic Designer & Operations Specialist
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday
About Us
We specialize in premium print, luxury packaging, and custom production solutions for high-end brands that demand exceptional quality, rigid standards, and relentless attention to detail. We blend cutting-edge structural innovation with timeless aesthetic design. We are looking for a unique, hybrid talent who can seamlessly bridge the gap between creative visual execution and rigorous operational/production management.
Position Overview
As a Luxury Print & Packaging Graphic Designer & Operations Specialist, you will own the lifecycle of our premium products from initial visual concept to final physical delivery. You will spend your days split between design work (creating stunning packaging aesthetics, structural layouts, and production-ready files) and operations (sourcing specialty substrates, coordinating with global manufacturers, and managing timelines).
Key Responsibilities
1. Graphic & Structural Design
- Develop high-end aesthetic designs, custom patterns, typography layouts, and brand assets tailored for luxury consumer goods.
- Design complex structural packaging layouts, including rigid boxes, specialty folding cartons, custom inserts, and custom-shaped promotional materials, and apparel.
- Build exact, production-ready dielines and technical files with precise measurements, bleed lines, and structural tolerances.
- Select and recommend premium papers, boards, materials, and eco-friendly/FSC-certified substrates that match the luxury tier of the project.
2. Print Production & Prepress
- Prepare flawless prepress files optimized for high-end embellishments such as foil stamping, embossing, debossing, spot UV, die-cutting, and specialty multi-tonal coatings.
- Conduct structural trials and validate mock-ups to review structural performance, functionality, and color accuracy prior to mass manufacturing.
- Review and approve printer proofs, ensuring rigorous quality assurance regarding line screens, ink densities, and finish alignments.
3. Operations & Vendor Management
- Manage the end-to-end production timeline for multiple custom client orders simultaneously, from intake to doorstep fulfillment.
- Source with local and international packaging manufacturers, ensuring strict adherence to cost limits, lead times, and quality standards.
- Resolve production roadblocks, tracking international freight, customs documentation, or material shortages to protect delivery deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3+ years of professional graphic design experience specifically focused on print production, commercial product packaging, or structural design.
- Technical Portfolio: A solid portfolio demonstrating real-world packaging projects, exact dielines, and a deep understanding of premium printing processes.
- Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Familiarity with 3D CAD or structural packaging tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, ArtiosCAD) is a massive asset.
- Print Knowledge: Advanced understanding of post-press finishing techniques (foil stamping, debossing, specialty coatings, custom die-cuts).
- Operations Aptitude: Exceptional organizational skills with experience managing client orders, external vendor pipelines, or international supply logistics.
- Eye for Luxury: An innate understanding of minimalist, modern, and high-end luxury aesthetics.
If you are a creative visionary who also loves spreadsheets, tracking timelines, and seeing your digital files turn into immaculate physical products, we want to hear from you. To Apply: Please submit your resume alongside a link to your design portfolio highlighting your structural packaging or luxury print work.
