Part-Time Maintenance Person – Prince George Properties

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Part-Time Maintenance Person to take care of maintenance and repair work for all of our properties in Prince George.

The successful candidate will be responsible for regularly checking the properties, identifying maintenance issues, completing repairs, and reporting larger concerns to management.

Main Responsibilities:

- Handle general maintenance and repairs at all of our Prince George properties
- Regularly inspect guest rooms, common areas, mechanical areas, and exterior areas
- Repair minor plumbing issues including toilets, sinks, faucets, and drains
- Handle basic electrical repairs such as lights, switches, and outlets
- Complete drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and touch-ups
- Perform minor carpentry, door, lock, and hardware repairs
- Take care of flooring and general room repairs
- Assist with heating, ventilation, hot water, and other building-related issues
- Complete preventive maintenance as required
- Respond to maintenance requests from hotel management and front desk staff
- Coordinate with contractors or trades when larger repairs are required
- Keep maintenance tools and supplies organized




- Make sure outstanding maintenance issues are followed up and completed

What We Are Looking For:

- Previous experience in maintenance, construction, renovation, or handyman work
- Hotel or commercial property maintenance experience is preferred
- Positive general knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and building repairs
- Able to work independently and manage work between multiple properties
- Reliable, responsible, and organized
- Good problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability when urgent maintenance issues arise

This is a part-time position, but the person will be responsible for supporting all of our properties in Prince George. Hours may vary depending on maintenance needs and ongoing projects.

Pay will be based on experience.
