About the Opportunity An opportunity is available for an experienced life actuarial professional to take a leading role across experience studies, assumption development and actuarial research.

The position will provide broad exposure across life insurance and reinsurance portfolios, supporting key decisions in pricing, product development, valuation and in-force management. The successful candidate will combine strong actuarial judgement with data-driven analysis and the ability to influence stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead mortality, morbidity, longevity and lapse experience studies
- Develop, review and recommend actuarial assumptions for pricing, valuation and portfolio management
- Analyze experience data to identify emerging trends and underlying performance drivers
- Translate complex technical findings into transparent business recommendations
- Challenge existing methodologies and develop improved analytical approaches
- Strengthen assumption governance, documentation and implementation processes
- Partner with Pricing, Product, Valuation,



Risk and other actuarial teams
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Mentor and support the development of junior actuarial professionals

Desired Experience

- Relevant actuarial experience within life insurance, reinsurance or consulting
- Strong exposure to experience studies, assumption development, pricing or valuation
- Sound understanding of mortality, longevity, morbidity and/or policyholder behaviour
- Strong analytical and actuarial judgement
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and influence senior stakeholders
- Fellowship-level actuarial qualification or strong progress toward qualification
- Experience with SQL, R, Python, Tableau or other analytical tools would be an asset
- Previous people-management or mentoring experience would be beneficial
