- Current Brunswick Region Pay Range Information: The expected base salary range for this position is $19.89 to $24.75. Placement in the salary range will be based on relevant job-related factors like candidate experience, education, skills and qualifications.
- Ontario Region Pay Range Information: The expected base salary range for this position is $21.88 to $27.15. Placement in the salary range will be based on relevant job-related factors like candidate experience, education, skills and qualifications.
The Manufacturing Systems Co-op Student supports the Manufacturing Systems team in the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of manufacturing applications and digital transformation initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), industrial data platforms, reporting tools, and manufacturing operations teams.
- Assist with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
- Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for manufacturing systems and operational performance metrics.
- Document business processes, user requirements, workflows,
and system procedures.
- Participate in system testing, validation, and issue tracking activities to ensure application quality and performance.
- Assist with troubleshooting manufacturing system issues and provide first-level support to end users.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and IT teams on manufacturing systems initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Assist in creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations using manufacturing and operational data.
- Support the configuration, validation, and deployment of manufacturing system enhancements under the guidance of senior team members.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve system utilization, data quality, and business processes.
- Learn and apply manufacturing systems, industrial data platforms, and digital manufacturing best practices.
- Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Technology Management, or a related field.
- Interest in manufacturing operations, automation, and digital transformation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or reporting tools is an asset.
- Basic understanding of SQL, databases, or programming is an asset.
- Familiarity with MES, AVEVA PI, PARCview, RTDuet, ERP, or manufacturing systems is an asset.
