Marketing & Ecommerce Specialist

Calgary, AB | Full time, On-siteCompensation based on experience

About the role

Coffee Addicts is growing, and we’re looking for a Marketing & Ecommerce Specialist to help turn our marketing plans into polished, reliable execution.

You’ll work closely with the Marketing Director and Social Media Specialist to bring campaigns, promotions, product launches, newsletters, and website updates to life. The Marketing Director sets the overall vision and priorities, but this isn’t a “wait for instructions” role. We plan collaboratively, and we want someone who can take the what, help shape the how, and then execute it well.

You’ll also bring strong ecommerce experience to the table. You’ll maintain the tools we use and help us use them better, spot opportunities, and improve the customer experience.

Why Coffee Addicts?

Coffee Addicts is a proudly Canadian, independently owned coffee equipment retailer and service company based in Calgary, with a second location opening in Vancouver. We help people make better coffee at home and at work by pairing deep product knowledge with friendly, practical advice. From espresso machines and grinders to parts, repairs, coffee, and education, our goal is to make the entire coffee experience feel more accessible.

With nearly 600 Google reviews and a 5-star rating, we’re proud of the trust we’ve built with our customers.

We care about doing excellent work, treating people well, sharing expertise without ego, and enjoying the work along the way. We want people who bring ideas, take ownership, and contribute to a positive,

collaborative environment. For the right person, enjoying coffee isn’t just a perk — it’s part of what makes you a great fit.

What you’ll do

- Own day-to-day updates and merchandising across our ecommerce stores
- Manage product launches, collections, sale pricing, banners, landing pages, and promotions
- Write, build, test, and schedule email campaigns
- Help brainstorm weekly newsletter topics and campaign ideas
- Support and optimize subscription platforms, ecommerce apps, and workflows
- Look for ways to improve conversion, usability, merchandising, and customer experience
- Create simple banners and digital assets when needed
- Coordinate website requirements with our SEO/SEM partners
- Maintain marketing calendars, campaign deadlines, and launch checklists
- Review performance and basic analytics to improve execution
- QA pricing, links, copy, discounts, product details, mobile display, and other customer-facing updates

Who you are You’re exceptionally detail-oriented and naturally thorough. You know the value of double-checking your work, testing updates, and making sure everything is working as intended before it goes live.

You’re also someone who can balance execution with judgment. You can contribute ideas, understand the intent behind a campaign, and then independently turn that direction into polished work that is ready for approval.

We’re looking for

- Hands-on experience with ecommerce platforms and tools, including product management, merchandising, promotions, email marketing, and customer-facing website updates
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to learn and consistently apply a brand voice
- Experience with email marketing platforms and campaign execution
- Familiarity with subscription platforms and ecommerce apps
- An ability to spot opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and customer experience
- Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Light design capability in Canva or similar tools
- Curiosity, resourcefulness, and confidence troubleshooting when something isn’t working as expected
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Commerce, Communications, Business, or a related field

Ecommerce tools You should be comfortable working across ecommerce platforms, email marketing tools, subscription software, and related apps and feel confident learning new systems when needed.

Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, Recharge, Canva, or similar platforms is considered an asset.
