We help consumers find trusted providers and manage important purchases over time, while helping merchants turn more inquiries into completed sales.

We are preparing for our Canadian launch in December 2026. This is an opportunity to join at an early stage, help shape how the brand shows up in the market, and turn a clear mission into content and campaigns that people understand and remember.

Job SummaryAs the Brand and Marketing Intern, you will support the day-to-day work of building the WaldisPay brand. You will help plan and create social content, research consumer and merchant audiences, coordinate campaigns, and measure what is working. The role combines creative judgment with disciplined execution.

You will work closely with the founders and contribute to real launch priorities. The suitable candidate is curious, organized, comfortable moving between ideas and details, and motivated by the chance to help build a Canadian fintech brand from the ground up.

Responsibilities· Support the development and execution of WaldisPay’s launch marketing calendar across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, email, and other relevant channels.

· Create and adapt clear, premium content, including social posts, short-form video concepts, captions, campaign copy, merchant stories, and educational materials.

· Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across consumer, merchant, investor, and community-facing communications.

· Research audience needs, category trends, competitors, creators,

and relevant conversations in health and wellness, automotive care, home care, and financial technology.

· Assist with merchant marketing initiatives, including co-branded campaigns, founding-merchant profiles, local activations, and launch materials.

· Coordinate content production by organizing briefs, approvals, assets, deadlines, and publishing schedules.

· Monitor campaign and channel performance, summarize key metrics, and recommend practical ways to improve reach, engagement, conversion, and brand awareness.

· Engage thoughtfully with online communities and help ensure questions or comments are routed to the right team member.

· Support events, partnerships, outreach, and other launch activities as priorities evolve.

· Complete work accurately and responsibly, respecting privacy, advertising requirements, and the trust expected of a financial-services brand.

Qualifications· Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in marketing, communications, business, design, media, public relations, or a related field.

· Solid writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex ideas clear, concise, and human.

· A good visual eye and an interest in brand systems, storytelling, content creation, and social media.

· Working knowledge of common creative and productivity tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or comparable platforms.

· Comfort using social platforms and interpreting basic performance measures such as reach, engagement, click-throughs, leads, and conversions.

· Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several assignments and deadlines.

· Self-motivated and resourceful, with the judgment to ask questions, accept feedback, and improve work quickly.

· Professional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with founders, merchants, partners, and external contributors.

· Interest in fintech, responsible finance, marketplaces, consumer brands, or startup environments is an asset.

· A portfolio, school project, social channel, writing sample, or other example of relevant work is an asset; professional experience is not required.

What You Will Gain· Hands-on experience helping launch a consumer and merchant brand in Canada.

· Direct exposure to brand strategy, content, partnerships, analytics, and startup decision-making.

· The opportunity to build portfolio-ready work with meaningful ownership and feedback from the founding team.

· A practical understanding of how a regulated financial services brand earns attention without compromising trust.

Application InstructionsTo apply, please submit your résumé and a brief cover note explaining why WaldisPay interests you and what you would bring to the role. Please also include one or two relevant work samples, such as social content, writing, design, a campaign, a school project, or a link to a portfolio.

In your cover note, tell us about one brand you think communicates exceptionally well and explain, in a few sentences, what makes it work effective.
