Duties

- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massage tailored to each client’s needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop customized treatment plans
- Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to ensure safe and effective therapy sessions
- Educate clients on self-care practices and occupational health strategies to maintain long-term wellness benefits
- Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and therapy outcomes in compliance with health regulations
- Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns with professionalism




- Stay current with industry trends and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and expand service offerings

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist, preferably with med spa or occupational health background
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
- Skilled in patient assessment techniques and customizing treatments accordingly
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect compassionately with diverse clients
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism
- Certification or licensing as required by local regulations for massage therapy practice
