Kinetic Transport Ltd. is currently seeking an Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic (1st or 2nd year) to join our team.

Transport is quickly turning into one of the most trusted transport companies in the area. Our fleet consists of everything ranging from a 1/2-ton pickups to a 15-ton picker. Kinetic prides itself with up-to-date equipment and a great working atmosphere. Our shop is always kept clean and is equipped with a well-designed service pit and overhead crane to make the job as easy as possible.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE

- Perform scheduled maintenance as well as both minor and major repairs to our fleet of up-to-date tractor & trailer units.
- Performing daily tasks directed by the Shop Foreman in a timely manner. Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace in the shop.
- Complete all required work orders and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:




- Experience with transport truck & trailer is an asset.
- Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
- Class 5 drivers' abstract in good standing.
- Welding experience is considered an asset.
- Positive attitude and good work ethic.
- Must be extremely organized.
- Physically capable of performing labor-intensive work.
- Be willing to work overtime if needed.
- Must have excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Own your own toolbox & tools.
