Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our team and drive the development of cutting-edge mechanical systems and products. Primary duties or responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Conduct on‑site visits and provide system training
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, piping layouts, and riser diagrams
- Understand HVAC/hydronic systems to identify key monitoring points (e.g., supply/return lines, mechanical rooms)
- Plan and prepare for system deployments and installations
- Install, activate, test, and commission monitoring devices and sensors
- Configure and troubleshoot communication networks for connected devices
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to device connectivity, sensor performance, and system reliability
- Analyze alerts, reports, and system data to identify potential leaks or abnormal conditions
- Train clients or building staff on system usage and basic troubleshooting
- Prepare documentation, reports,



and CAD-based layouts for system designs
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients during project execution
- Provide post-installation support to ensure proper functionality of deployed systems

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Advanced degrees are considered an asset)
- Basic understanding of HVAC and hydronic systems (used for system context, not operation responsibility)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and piping drawings
- Familiarity with riser diagrams and water distribution layouts is an asset
- Hands-on experience in construction, mechanical systems, or fieldwork is an asset
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently in field environments and as part of a team
- Experience with basic software tools and CAD for layout/design support
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing project requirements
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
