MERCHANDISER

We are looking for a merchandiser to work at the Home Depot store in New Minas (Nova Scotia)

Regular year-long position, part-time

Who we are:

A horticultural producer whose story has been growing for 6 generations. Local people who are proud to produce and offer high-quality plants with respect for the environment. Our production specializes in perennials, herbs, vegetables and tropical plants destined for major retail chains in Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes, as well as for several garden centres.

What you will do:

Receive, unpack and unload plant deliveries.

Display and merchandise plants according to established standards.

Maintain regular communication with the internal team at Rosaire Pion Greenhouses and the assigned store(s).

Manage in-store space in collaboration with resource personnel.

General plant care and maintenance.

Maintain adequate inventory of plants and carts in store.

Provide information and assist customers when needed.

Flexible and reliable, especially during peak seasonal periods.

Considered an asset: experience in sales,



customer service or merchandising.

No horticultural knowledge required for the merchandiser position, as training will be provided by the company.

What we offer:

Employment Status: (2 options available)

1. Regular year-round position: Part-time (September to May) and full-time (May to July).
2. Regular year-round position: Part-time year-round. Possibility of working additional hours during the peak season.

Note: The months indicated are approximate and are provided to give an estimate of the seasonal period. The duration and timing of the season may vary depending on various factors, including weather conditions and the company’s operational needs. Expected Start Date: As soon as possible.

Salary: Starting at $17.80/hour (to be evaluated based on knowledge/experience).
