We are seeking motivated and dependable Metal Moulders to join our dynamic manufacturing team. We currently have six full time Moulding positions available, offering opportunities on both our Day Shift and Afternoon Shift.

As a Moulder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality aluminum castings safely, efficiently, and accurately. You will work as part of a team to operate moulding equipment, perform quality and process checks, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure production requirements are met.

Available Positions & Shifts3 Day Shift Positions

- Monday – Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Friday: 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

3 Afternoon Shift Positions

- Monday – Thursday: 3:15 p.m. – 11:15 p.m.
- Friday: 11:45 a.m. – 7:45 p.m.

Position Summary Moulder Learners are responsible for producing quality aluminum castings safely and efficiently while working collaboratively with team members and employees across different functional areas.

Training will be provided on our moulding processes, equipment, quality requirements, and foundry procedures.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor moulding machines and related equipment.
- Learn and perform proper methods for spraying, wiping, and cleaning moulds.
- Learn and perform various foundry duties and quality checks.




- Clean moulds and inspect castings for quality and defects.
- Perform process checks, hand-clean parts, and pack products according to control plans and process sheets.
- Develop knowledge and experience working with a variety of moulds.
- Assist Maintenance with preventative maintenance activities on moulding equipment.
- Ensure first-off inspections are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Work safely, efficiently, and skillfully while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Monitor and attend to scrap bins, conveyors, and shake-out areas.
- Maintain accurate records of parts produced, scrap, and mould history.
- Meet established production schedules and quality requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve the moulding process.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills
- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Clean criminal record.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated mechanical ability and the ability to safely use hand tools.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow company policies, procedures,



and safety requirements.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn about moulding equipment, troubleshooting, process monitoring, and process control.
- Understanding of customer quality requirements.
- Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations is an asset.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and productivity.

Working Conditions
- Work is performed in a foundry/manufacturing facility in London, Ontario.
- Foundry environments are hot by nature, with exposure to open flames, molten aluminum, heat, and industrial equipment.
- Employees must be comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
- Overtime may be required based on production and shipping requirements.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety procedures must be followed at all times.
