PRINCIPAL DUTIES

- Maintain a predictive and preventative maintenance program for all production equipment and document it accordingly.
- Ensure that equipment and facilities are functional and safe for operation. This includes inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
- Safely and efficiently repair assigned equipment. This includes repairing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as mechanical presses, motors, pumps, fans, tanks, and conveyors, according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and forklifts to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery.
- Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul,



maintenance or set-up of machinery.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment. This includes reading blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Document and sign off on all completed work orders, recording the amount of materials and man hours it took to complete the work order.
- Immediately lockout and report any potentially dangerous problems which you become aware of.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities for equipment and processes.
- Ensure your work area and areas where you are conducting repairs are left safe and clean.
- Participate as a team member of the Emergency Response Team.

REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Extensive experience in press shop equipment predictive and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and rebuilding.
- Maintenance Millwright
- Ability to work overtime as required.
