About Island Gold District: Alamos Gold’s Island Gold District will become one of the largest and lowest-cost gold mines in Canada. With the two mines within the district, Island Gold and Magino employ over 900 team members who work in the underground and open pit operations and are located in northern Ontario, just east of the town of Dubreuilville, 83 kilometres northeast of Wawa. Role Overview:

Reporting to the Mine Supervisor, the CRF Miner will operate the CRF Batching Plant.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Perform workplace inspections and ensure areas are compliant with standards. • If required, correct, or report any deficiencies identified during the workplace inspection to the supervisor.
- Unload bulk bags and organize underground cement storage using a telehandler.




- Follow the first in – first out rule for proper cement rotation. Accurately report cement inventory.
- Have knowledge of the plant components (i.e.: valves, pumps, motors, etc.) and be able to perform basic pre/post op maintenance.
- Be comfortable running the plant using the plant touch screen. This includes selecting recipes, running slurry batches, running wash cycles and basic troubleshooting.
- Feed the cement hopper with cement bags using provided electric chain hoist and motorized trolley.
- Keep the cement plant clean and work area tidy.
- Wash the plant and telehandler at the end of every shift.
- Inspect TLO, wash area, pump out cement slurry and clean up remnant cement that was washed from the truck box using the telehandler with a bucket. Dispose of the cement slurry at the required location as per instructions from the supervisor.

Secondary Responsibilities:

- Safely operate man carrier.
- Safely operator a boom truck.
- Miscellaneous work identified by the supervisor within the employees’ training.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:

- Previous experience with CRF plant and operating a Telehandler.
- Underground Common Core Modules.
- Minimum six (6) months of experience preferred.

Working Conditions:

- Work schedule for this position is on a 7/7 rotation consisting of days and nights including weekends.

This is an underground position.

Physical requirements: This work requires the ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time. This work can become repetitive at times.
