Soleful Harmony

Calgary

Job Summary

Soleful Harmony is mobile footcare practice in Calgary and surrounding areas — winner of the 2026 Home-Based Care Momentum Award and a Canadian Choice Award. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mobile Foot Care Nurse (RN/LPN) to provide specialized foot health services directly within the Calgary community, delivering expert assessments and treatments to a roster of established and new clients in homes, senior living, and partner facility settings across Calgary and surrounding areas.

This is a subcontractor position — it is a position for a licensed nurse who combines genuine clinical expertise with a proactive approach to client education and comfort, takes pride in reliability and attention to detail, and is looking to build a lasting reputation with a respected, growing brand rather than move between short-term placements.

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive foot assessments — skin, nail, circulatory, and musculoskeletal — tailored to each client's needs
- Perform routine foot care procedures including nail trimming, and corn/callus and diabetic/at-risk foot care (wound care is not performed by our team)
- Administer treatments safely, adhering to strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards
- Recommend and fit compression socks and offloading/bracing devices where clinically appropriate
- Educate clients and caregivers on foot hygiene and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate, same-day documentation of assessments and treatments using Jane App
- Communicate proactively with our scheduling team about availability, delays, or client concerns
- Represent Soleful Harmony professionally at optional community health fairs and networking events
- Optional Outreach day once a month to give back to the community

Skills & Qualifications

- Current, valid registration as an RN or LPN in Alberta, with footcare-specific training/certification
- Proven nursing experience in home care, senior living,

or community settings; geriatric or diabetic foot care experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge of infection control, sterilization procedures, and protected handling of clinical instruments
- Comfort using scheduling and documentation software (we use Jane App)
- Excellent client communication skills, with the compassion and patience to work with seniors and clients managing chronic conditions
- Impeccable reliability and attention to detail — arriving fully equipped, on time and every time
- Ability to manage a full daily caseload independently while demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and genuine care

Compensation Base pay: $40 per completed mobile appointment, $35 per completed facility appointment (facility rate reflects little to no drive time between clients in the same building). Typical schedule is 5–6 appointments per day.

Beyond base pay, Soleful Harmony subcontractors can earn additional income through product commissions, referral bonuses, and paid appearances at community events — full details are walked through at the interview stage.

What You Provide (Subcontractor Responsibilities)

This is a genuine subcontractor role, not an employee position. Please read this section carefully before applying — it will be discussed directly in your interview.

- Your own reliable vehicle, fuel, and all mileage between appointments
- Your own liability/malpractice insurance
- Your own WCB coverage or equivalent proof of personal injury coverage as a self-employed contractor
- Your own footcare tools, and PPE, maintained to a hospital-grade standard

- Responsibility for your own income tax remittance and any applicable GST registration
- Flexibility to set your own hours within the availability you commit to, and freedom to take on other clients or contracts

What Soleful Harmony Provides

- An established, growing client base
- Jane App scheduling, client communication, and booking management
- A respectful, communicative working relationship — we treat our subcontractors as professionals, and expect the same in return

Who We're Looking For Beyond the credentials above, we're looking for a diamond in the rough — someone who may not have the flashiest resume, but who is honest, teachable, and genuinely loyal to doing excellent work for the same team over the long term, rather than a side gig squeezed between other full-time commitments.
