Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mortgage Adviser role based in Montreal, QC.

The Mortgage

Adviser will guide clients through the mortgage process, from initial consultation and needs assessment to product recommendation and application completion. Daily responsibilities include evaluating financial information, explaining mortgage options, preparing and submitting applications, and coordinating with lenders, brokers, and other partners. The role involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, interest rates, and regulatory requirements, while providing clear, empathetic communication to support client decisions.

Adviser will also contribute to business development through networking, customer follow-up, and participation in marketing and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Mortgages and Finance, with demonstrated ability to interpret client financial data and match appropriate mortgage products.
- Experience or capability in Mortgage Marketing, including supporting outreach activities and promoting services through client communication and local networking.
- Background in Financial Planning, with skills in helping clients understand long-term financial implications of mortgage decisions.
- CeMap Qualified, or equivalent recognized mortgage advising certification, or willingness to obtain relevant qualification within a defined timeframe.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information in clear, accessible language.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with attention to accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Previous experience in mortgage advising, banking, or real estate is an asset.
- Comfort working in an in office, client-facing environment; proficiency with common office and CRM software.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team; professional fluency in English and French is highly beneficial.
