A Mile Above Moving Inc. is looking for reliable, hardworking, and professional Movers / Drivers to join our Ottawa team.

We provide residential, commercial, long-distance, packing, delivery, and specialty moving services. We’re looking for people who take pride in their work, treat customers and their belongings with respect, and work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

- Safely load, transport, and unload customers' belongings
- Protect furniture using moving blankets, shrink wrap, straps, and other equipment
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture when required
- Operate company moving trucks safely and professionally
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate driver logs and required documentation when applicable
- Follow company safety procedures and moving standards
- Communicate professionally with customers, crew leads, and office staff
- Keep trucks, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
- Assist with residential, commercial, long-distance, delivery,



and specialty moves
- Perform other moving-related duties as required

What We're Looking For
- Valid Ontario driver's licence
- Clean or acceptable driving record
- Previous moving, delivery, warehouse, construction, landscaping, or other physical labour experience is an asset
- Comfortable driving moving trucks, including larger box trucks
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy furniture and household items
- Reliable transportation to and from our Ottawa location
- Punctual and dependable
- Robust customer-service skills
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable working long or variable hours depending on the day's moves
- Available for some weekends and early mornings
- Able to work safely in different weather conditions

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
