And you understand that great business development isn’t about being pushy. It’s about people, relationships and finding the right fit.
Digital marketing experience?
Nice to have. Definitely not required.
We can teach you SEO, Google Ads, websites, social media and the marketing side of things.
Being naturally great with people is harder to teach.
What you’ll actually be doing
- Meeting potential clients and starting conversations
- Networking in the Calgary business community
- Building relationships with referral and strategic partners
- Finding and qualifying new opportunities
- Following up with prospects
- Booking discovery meetings
- Keeping opportunities moving through our pipeline
- Learning enough about digital marketing to recognize when we can help
- Working closely with our team to identify new opportunities

Effortless Marketing is a family owned digital marketing agency that has been around since 2009.
We work with small and medium sized businesses on SEO, Google Ads, websites, social media, branding and digital strategy.
We’re professional, but we’re not overly corporate.
We believe in doing great work, communicating like actual humans, building long term relationships and having some fun along the way.
Where this role can go
We’re not looking for someone who just sends us the occasional lead.
We’re looking for someone who wants to become an important part of how Effortless grows.
There’s room to take on more responsibility, develop relationships, build partnerships and eventually take greater ownership of business development as the role grows.
