: Reporting to the Manager, the Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Health Authority through the provision of protected quality nursing care to clients. The Clinical Resource Nurse educates, mentors and supports unit staff, promotes patient safety, occupational health and safety and quality improvement on the unit.

Experience

- Requires a minimum of five (5) years recent nursing experience related to the clinical program area.
- Previous leadership experience is required.

Education

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing

Other Education and Training

- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
- Other specialty certificates related to the clinical program area as required
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
