We are seeking a Community Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide client-centred rehabilitation services throughout the Lower Mainland.

This is not a role where you simply complete assessments and write reports. You’ll work alongside clients to understand what matters most to them, identify the barriers standing in their way, and develop practical strategies that help them regain independence, participate in meaningful activities, and return to important life roles.

What You'll Do

You’ll bring your clinical expertise into the environments where people actually live, work, and participate.

Your work may include:

- Completing functional and occupational assessments
- Conducting home and community assessments
- Visiting job sites and assessing workplace demands
- Developing Graduated Return to Work and Graduated Activity Plans
- Identifying equipment, environmental modifications, support services, and attendant-care needs




- Providing active rehabilitation to build independence in home and community settings
- Developing individualized therapeutic strategies and treatment plans
- Collaborating with physicians, therapists, employers, case managers, and other members of the healthcare team
- Communicating clinical findings and recommendations clearly with clients, healthcare professionals, and funders
- Connecting clients with appropriate community resources and health services
- Navigating funder requirements and contracts to help clients access the services they need
- Supporting clients as they work toward meaningful, measurable outcomes

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist who is clinically strong, organized, compassionate, and confident working independently.

You bring:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Sound clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
- A commitment to client-centred care
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a broader healthcare team
- A willingness to continually learn and develop professionally
- A reliable vehicle for community-based clinical appointments
- Current registration/membership with CHCPBC

Experience working with third-party or agency funders is a strong asset, particularly:

- WorkSafeBC
- ICBC
- Long-Term Disability (LTD) insurers
- Other agency payers
