Job Overview
Happy Feet Physiotherapy is seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team at our Langley location.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about working with children and families in a supportive, collaborative clinical environment. Current graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply. Pediatric experience is not required, as mentorship and clinical support will be provided.
As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Happy Feet Physiotherapy, you will work primarily with children to help them develop the skills needed to participate more confidently and independently in everyday activities at home, school, and within the community.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify each child’s strengths, challenges, functional needs, and goals.
- Develop individualized, evidence-informed treatment plans based on the needs of each child and family.
- Provide engaging, play-based therapy sessions addressing areas such as:
- Fine motor and visual-motor skills
- Sensory processing and regulation
- Gross motor coordination and motor planning
- Self-care and activities of daily living
- Attention and executive functioning
- School readiness and handwriting
- Emotional and behavioural regulation
- Participation in home, school, and community activities
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to provide education, home strategies, and recommendations that support progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Happy Feet Physiotherapy team and, when appropriate, teachers, physicians,
and other healthcare or educational professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, assessment reports, treatment notes, and progress updates.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, mentorship, and team learning opportunities.
- Provide compassionate, child- and family-centred care while creating a positive and welcoming therapy experience.
Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized program.
- Registered, or eligible for registration, to practise as an Occupational Therapist in British Columbia.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Previous pediatric experience is not required — mentorship and clinical guidance will be provided.
- Interest in developing skills and expertise in pediatric occupational therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with children, families, and other professionals.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Organized, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality, evidence-informed care.
- A warm, patient, and engaging approach to working with children and families.
