Company Description
Founded in 2017, NCCO Rehabilitation Services provides personalized occupational therapy and case management services to individuals recovering from injury, disability, or illness. Serving clients in their homes, workplaces, and communities throughout Ontario, NCCO has a team of experienced therapists dedicated to ethical and evidence-based practices. The team is well-versed in Ontario's automobile insurance system, including the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS), and registered with HCAI.
NCCO offers a range of services, including occupational therapy assessments and treatments, case management, rehabilitation support, aqua therapy, and yoga therapy. Team members have also been recognized as Expert Witnesses in Occupational Therapy and Case Management by the Superior Court of Ontario.
Role Description
This is a contract-based hybrid role for an Occupational Therapist located in Ontario, Canada (see below for details). While occasional in-person visits to clients in their home, workplace, or community are required, work from home is also supported for certain tasks.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, providing therapy services, documenting progress,
collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and supporting rehabilitation goals tailored to clients’ individual needs.
Location
We are currently hiring for the following areas:
- West End Greater Toronto Area (GTA): Etobicoke - Mississauga - Brampton
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy practices, including assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services.
- Experience and knowledge in medicine and related areas to support the recovery of individuals with varying conditions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Experience in pediatric therapy is an asset.
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program and eligibility for registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel within the Greater Toronto Area.
- Understanding of Ontario’s automobile insurance system, including SABS, is an advantage.
- Commitment to ethical, client-centered care and evidence-based practices.
