Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic OCT (Overseas Chinese Teacher) English Tutor to inspire and guide students in developing their English language skills.

Duties

- Design and deliver interactive English lessons tailored to students’ age and proficiency levels, ensuring engaging and effective learning experiences
- Incorporate multimedia resources, games, and activities to enhance language acquisition and maintain student motivation
- Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, assignments, and informal observations; provide constructive feedback to support improvement
- Foster a positive classroom workplace that encourages participation, confidence, and curiosity in language learning
- Communicate clearly with students and parents about learning goals, progress updates, and areas for improvement
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and language backgrounds, including Mandarin, French, Spanish, or Japanese speakers
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and student achievements in accordance with program guidelines

Experience





- Prior experience tutoring or teaching English to children or teenagers in classroom or one-on-one settings
- Demonstrated classroom experience with young learners in educational or extracurricular environments
- Proficiency in Mandarin is essential; knowledge of additional languages such as French, Spanish, or Japanese is a strong plus
- Strong writing skills for creating lesson plans, instructional materials, and progress reports
- Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds is highly valued
- Familiarity with modern teaching tools and digital platforms to facilitate remote or hybrid instruction
