Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized individual to join our team as a Office Assistant/Phone Customer Service Representative. The primary responsibility for this role is to manage incoming phone calls, provide excellent customer service to pet owners, and assist in scheduling appointments while supporting smooth clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Handle appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling.
- Provide accurate information regarding clinic services, prices, and policies.
- Direct urgent or emergency calls appropriately to veterinary staff.
- Relay messages between clients and veterinary staff efficiently.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and patient information at all times.
- Handle basic client inquiries and guide them through clinic processes (e.g., vaccination schedules, surgery drop-off times).




- Update client information in the clinic software during calls.
- Perform follow-up calls as directed (e.g., appointment reminders, post-surgery check-ins).

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Friendly, patient, and compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with veterinary software (asset but not required).
- Previous customer service experience preferred; veterinary clinic experience is a plus.

Working Hours:

- Full time or part-time, depending on clinic needs.
- May include evenings or weekends depending on clinic hours.
