Oracle Fusion Cloud Administrator – CONTRACT
12–15 Month Contract | Renewable | Remote | Rate Negotiable
Toronto Test Consultants is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Administrator to support a major enterprise-wide Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP transformation. This is a long-term, remote contract opportunity for a hands-on Oracle Cloud professional with robust experience across OCI administration, IAM, Oracle Fusion Cloud and OIC environments.
Position Overview
Our client is undertaking a major enterprise transformation to replace its legacy financial platform with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Administrator to provide hands-on administration, operational support, security and environment management across the Oracle Cloud ecosystem.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that Oracle Cloud environments are secure, stable, available and ready to support implementation, testing, releases and production operations. This position requires strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Cloud Console, IAM, Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Cloud environments throughout the Oracle Fusion ERP implementation.
- Manage Oracle Cloud Console, IAM, users, roles, policies and access controls, ensuring appropriate security and governance.
- Support OCI networking, connectivity, security configuration and environment management.
- Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, troubleshooting and operational support processes.
- Manage certificates, keys, secrets and secure connectivity across Oracle Cloud environments and connected enterprise applications.
- Provide administration and operational support for Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) environments.
- Support environment provisioning, configuration, refreshes and readiness activities across development,
testing and production environments.
- Coordinate Oracle Fusion quarterly updates and patches, including reviewing Oracle release notifications, assessing potential impacts and coordinating testing and validation.
- Work with functional, technical, integration and testing teams to ensure environments are available and properly configured for SIT, UAT, releases, cutover and production.
- Open, manage and actively track Oracle Support Service Requests (SRs) through resolution, coordinating with Oracle Support and internal technical teams.
- Identify potential patch, configuration, connectivity and environment issues before they impact the program.
- Support OIC integrations, connectivity and operational troubleshooting in collaboration with the Integration Lead and Systems Integrator.
- Establish documentation, operational procedures and knowledge-transfer materials to support the transition into ongoing operations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience administering Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Cloud environments.
- Demonstrated experience with Oracle Cloud Console and OCI IAM, including users, groups/roles, policies and access controls.
- Strong understanding of OCI networking, connectivity and security.
- Hands-on experience with environment configuration, monitoring, logging and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing certificates, keys, secrets and secure connectivity.
- Experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP environments.
- Experience supporting or administering Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Experience managing Oracle Fusion quarterly releases/updates, including impact assessment, testing coordination and issue resolution.
- Experience working directly with Oracle Support, including managing Service Requests through resolution.
- Solid troubleshooting and technical problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across infrastructure, security, application, integration, functional and SI teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certification.
- Experience supporting a large-scale Oracle Fusion implementation.
- Experience with OIC administration, including environment refreshes, integrations and connectivity.
- Experience supporting MuleSoft environments.
- Experience with automation and CI/CD.
- Previous experience supporting complex enterprise environments with multiple cloud and SaaS integrations.
What Success Looks Like The successful consultant will help ensure that:
- Oracle environments remain secure, stable and available.
- Access, security controls and cloud policies are properly maintained.
- Fusion quarterly releases are assessed, coordinated and validated with minimal disruption.
- Oracle Service Requests are proactively managed through resolution.
- Patch and environment impacts are identified early.
- Environments are consistently ready for testing and production releases.
- Monitoring and operational support capabilities are established and sustainable.
Project Workplace The Oracle Fusion implementation encompasses Financials capabilities including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Cash Management, financial reporting, financial controls, bank reconciliation, financial close, Project Costing, budgeting, planning, forecasting and consolidation.
The project includes architecture, configuration, security, data migration, integrations, testing, cutover, hypercare and knowledge transfer.
