Seasonal Christmas Lighting Installer – Outdoor Work

Starting Wage: $21.00 per hour, PLUS Production Bonus

Christmas Decor, a division of the Nutri-Lawn Service Group, is hiring dependable, hardworking individuals to join our installation team for the upcoming Christmas season.

This is a physically demanding outdoor position involving the installation of professional Christmas lighting and decorations on residential and commercial properties. Applicants must be comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions and working at heights using ladders and boom lifts.

What You’ll Do

- Install Christmas lights and decorations on homes and commercial properties
- Work safely from ladders, rooftops and boom lifts
- Load, unload and organize lighting, decorations and equipment
- Follow installation plans and instructions from supervisors
- Test lighting and complete adjustments when required
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Work cooperatively as part of an installation crew
- Help remove Christmas decorations after the holiday season when work is available

What We Provide

What We’re Looking For
- Comfortable working outdoors in cold, wet and changing weather
- Comfortable working at heights
- Physically capable of climbing ladders and repeatedly lifting and carrying equipment
- Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
- Strong work ethic and ability to maintain a steady pace throughout the day
- Able to follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions
- Available to work full-time, five or six days per week
- Flexible availability, as hours may vary due to weather and operational requirements
- Previous construction, landscaping, roofing, outdoor labour or installation experience is an asset
- A valid driver’s licence is an asset

This position is best suited to someone who enjoys physical outdoor work and is prepared for long, active days in fall and early-winter weather. Applicants who are uncomfortable with heights, ladders, cold weather or demanding physical work should carefully consider whether this position is a good fit. Hiring begins in late September, and training and installation work begins in early October. The primary installation season runs until approximately mid-December, followed by a Christmas holiday break. Selected employees may be offered decoration-removal work and continued employment into the new year based on performance and business needs.
