Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as an Owner Operator Truck Driver, where you will take charge of your own freight transportation operations while enjoying the independence and flexibility that comes with being an owner-operator. Duties

- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight efficiently and on schedule across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Manage freight documentation accurately, including delivery manifests and shipping logs
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to address minor mechanical issues during trips




- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery times and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized truck interior and exterior to uphold company standards

Experience

- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
- Familiarity with forklift operation and freight handling procedures
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation related to loading/unloading cargo
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting mechanical problems on the road
- Robust understanding of safety regulations, DOT compliance, and transportation laws
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize deliveries, and adapt to changing schedules
